Trimethoprim and Sulphamethoxazole Powder
Indications: It is very effective against Gram negative
and Gram positive bacteria.
Cattle, Horse & Pigs:
· Staphylococci · Streptococci
· Haemorrhagic septicaemia · Respiratory infections.
Sheep & Goat: · Lamb Pneumonia · Respiratory
infections · Enteritis
Dosage: Recommendations: 15-30 mg. of active
ingredients per 1kg body weight.
Livestock: Cattle: 250 mg / Kg. body weight
Sheep & Goats:
Lambs: 2.50 grams Up to 10 Kg. Yearlings:6.50 grams
– 10-25 Kg. b.wt Adults: 10.00 grams – 25- 40 Kg.b.wt
(or) as advised by a veterinarian.
Withdrawal period : 10 days.
