Trimethoprim and Sulphamethoxazole Powder
Indications:
It is very effective against Gram negative and Gram positive
bacteria.
Poultry:
• Bacterial enteritis • Colisepticemia • Bacillary white
diarrhoea • Infectious coryza • Fowl Cholera • Secondary
bacterial infections associated with viral diseases • Early
Chick mortality • Coccidiosis with mixed bacterial infections.
Dosage: Recommendations:15-30 mg. of active ingredients
per 1kg body weight.
Poultry: Orally through drinking water
For Prophylactic Use: 1gm per 2 ltrs of drinking water for
3-5 days
For Therapeutic Use:
1gm per ltr of drinking water for 5-7 days.
Fresh solution should be made every day (or) as advised
by a veterinarian.
Note: Only medicated water should be allowed
throughout the day during the course of treatment.
